Guilt-free and healthy kale snack

You may think this snack something only suitable for healthy diet nuts, but it is more than quite edible. You can make kale potato mash with any leftovers.

Ingredients

1⁄2 teaspoon salt (kosher salt)
3⁄4 pound kale (rinsed)
  cooking oil (cooking spray)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350º F.

Remove thick stems from kale and tear the leaves into large pieces. Arrange the leaves in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Spray kale lightly with non-stick cooking spray and sprinkle with the kosher salt.

Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until the kale is crisp.

Cool and enjoy as a healthy snack.

Notes

So low in calories that it is absolutely guilt free for anyone in a weight loss diet. It is also gluten and dairy free, just a healthy vegetarian option.

This kale snack has many other uses. You can mix it with virtually everything, in from salads to potato mash.
