Swamp potato

Swamp potatoes are perennial aquatic plants with distinct arrow-shaped leaves. They grow in shallow water habitats like swamps, marshes, and ponds.

Swamp potatoes

The plant features long, trailing vines, beautiful heart-shaped leaves, and tuberous roots that are absolutely delicious. The tubers have a delightfully starchy texture similar to regular potatoes, with a mildly sweet, nutty flavor that's simply irresistible, often described as having a taste similar to potatoes and chestnuts.

Boil’ fish

A clear, lime-bright fish soup simmered with potatoes, onions, a touch of butter, and, occasionally, a hot pepper. It’s classic breakfast or late-night comfort food, typically served with Johnny cake or grits. Locals often call it just boil.

Cobb salad

The appeal lies in its elegant balance of textures and flavors, from creamy avocado to crispy bacon, tangy blue cheese, and tender chicken. Plus, it’s endlessly versatile, making it a go-to option for food lovers looking to experiment.
