Butter free pound cake

Dou you have a recipe for pound cake without butter?

From: Casey, Montclair, NJ

Butter is sometimes perceived as "unhealthy" because of its content of saturated fat. We consider healthy food any natural food in the right size portion. We prefer butter for baking; heavy cream the only substitution, because it makes the sponge much lighter.

Having said that, those on a milk free diet don't need to give up on cakes. This recipe uses sunflower oil instead of butter. We added apple, nuts and raisins for extra flavor and health benefits, and to show how to vary the basic recipe.

Here is the recipe: Apple, nut and raisin cake.
