Garlic Jalapeno jelly

Serve as a different side dish.

Ingredients

1 cup chili pepper (jalapeños, chopped)
1 bell pepper (green or red, chopped)
1⁄4 cup garlic (or to taste, peeled)
1 1⁄2 cups vinegar (white wine vinegar)
6 cups sugar
2 packages pectin (liquid pectin)

Instructions

  1. Place peppers, green pepper, garlic, vinegar and sugar in a large pot and mixing well.
  2. Bring to a boil, stir often. Boil for 5-6 minutes
  3. Remove from heat and add pectin and stir.
  4. Pour into hot, sterile 1/2 pint jars. Allow to cool and store in refrigerator.
